for authors & entrepreneurs

Get the attention of agents & publishers with a polished manuscript and a perfect pitch

Find your voice. Get published.

Are you having trouble organizing, finishing, or polishing your writing?

The struggle to get a book into publication-quality shape can be painful and overwhelming. Too many rewrites. Not enough traction with agents and publishers.

This is the most vulnerable time for a writer. If you follow the urge to give up and tuck that baby inside a drawer, your chance to use your book as a personal, business, or career springboard plummets to zero.

Writers come in all flavors, but even the most experienced have trouble taking their book the last mile.

“I’m almost finished with my book. I’ve been ‘almost finished’ for years.”

“I need a book to help me stay competitive in my business, but I don’t know where to begin.”

“Everyone loves my ideas, but no one will give me a book deal.”

“I don’t know how to get an agent.”

“I tried a million agents and they don’t get back to me.”

“I’ve been published before, but I need to step up my earnings and prestige.”

“I get the most beautiful rejection letters.”

“My book needs to be shortened/lengthened/edited/turned inside out.”

It may seem hopeless — but what if someone else could look under the hood and see exactly what’s wrong and help you fix it? Hand you the tools and show you how to use them?

You would find your writer’s voice.

You would fall in love again with the creative process.

You would have a polished manuscript and a perfect pitch that will capture the attention of agents and publishers.

About me

IMG_3807.jpg

Hi, I’m Jami —

I help authors and entrepreneurs find their voice and finish their book.

It doesn’t matter whether your previous attempts to write a book fizzled, or you’re stuck near the finish line and struggling to organize your ideas, or you have a story you’re desperate to tell and don’t know where to start — I am here to walk you through every step of the process.

Writing an exceptional book is a life-changing experience. For entrepreneurs, authorship and publishing means credibility and an opportunity for new revenue streams. For writers, nirvana. But none of this is possible if you spend time (even years) and money (on book factories or one-size-fits-all classes) and end up writing the wrong book.

My writing journey began in kindergarten, playing with words and scribbling stories in 15-cent memo pads. As a child, I never felt I had a voice; developing it and owning it in the years that followed was a painful, often frightening experience. Thankfully, there were adults in my life who took me seriously — I’m looking at you, my eighth-grade English teacher Mr. O’Connor! — and I came to realize how transformational it can be to have someone patiently take you by the hand and help you realize your potential.
